2019 Coratina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Cold pressed from our California estate grown CORATINA olives. This bold intensity oil has a slight bitterness with tastes of artichoke, green grass, and green olive with a peppery finish.
For those looking for high antioxidant levels, our Coratina had a very high polyphenol (antioxidant) count of 483 at the time of milling (November 27, 2019).
Use Coratina with meats, seafood, marinades, tomato sauces, roasted vegetables, and foods with stronger flavors. Try it on corn on the cob, and over grilled meats. Add a drizzle on top of tomato soap or split-pea soup.
Lab results confirm very high quality extra virgin olive oil: Free Acidity: 0.06% (USDA Standard <0.80); Peroxide Value: 4 meq/kg (USDA Standard is <20). California Olive Oil Council certification in process.
